First of all we connect education with school. School is the priority that means a lot in our life, on what our future depends. This is the establishment where we learn ABC, ac quire deep knowledge to get a profession, a better position in society. This is the institution where our abilities are developed and where we obtain necessary skills to explore new ideas and habits for constant study and work. This is the place where we learn to appreciate the encouragement of teachers, support of our classmates, the real value of communication and friendship.
Our school is situated in a small street close to a picturesque forest where informative excursions and sport activities can be held. Our school is a state school with some «action» facilities which include indoor sport gyms, large playing fields, and computer classes. All these facilities are located within the premises of the school. I wish our school had a superb range of sporting and academic facilities and a network of computers around the building. Our school is a three storied building where there are workshops for boys and girls, gyms a canteen, a library and classrooms for pupils.
We study a lot of subjects, none of them is optional. In all subjects we are supposed to get deep knowledge, to cope with all sorts of tasks, to do our work good enough. Besides, the aim of school presupposes to bring up creative personalities from its pupils. Obviously, without encouraging personal teaching it can hardly work.
The real education has to be a preparation for the future, when students are able to decide things for themselves as free individuals, free by self-knowledge and self-control. In the future one has to be culturally adaptable and adept at languages. The real education should produce the most well-round and the most employable adult, who will be able to market his skills across the continent, not only his country.
The aim of education should be to use childhood and adolescence to create emotional wholeness and personal strength, to develop a self-regulating character, because the human personality is a five fold constitution: it is a body, a life, a mind, a psychic and a spiritual being. None of these fundamentals stands disconnected from the others.
The aim of education can be achieved with the help of creating collaboration between teachers, parents and children. Thus, the teacher is a sculptor of young personality. Such profession demands of this man great generosity of soul, love for pupils and devotion to his work, talent to release the latent genius from a child.
But the profession isn’t something stable. In our schools today we feel shortage of progressive tutors which can teach with a new modern approach. Certainly, schools buy computers for children and teachers use whiteboards or even TFT monitors or digital projectors rather than old blackboards. Some institutions even keep in touch with parents by internet .Although if we compare with driverless cars, speech and text recognition and implantation of internal organs, financial services and any other innovation, teaching still stays really disconnected from technology. The policy of school teaching should change according to the modern requirements. Technology can improve education in many ways and there is real scope for further progress but there is no doubt real human interaction is essential. Human beings are not only hardware to be loaded with as much programs as possible. Technology is great when it’s used well in an appropriate fashion. Otherwise it’s just another distraction kids and teachers don’t need.
Learning is not only cramming the child’s brain with useful information, but teaching a child thinking skills through making right decisions and correct choices. School must stir the curiosity and creativity of pupils and not grow up a submissive machine. Children should not only be introduced to science, figures and computers but taught that communicating and skills used in fact are as important as knowledge itself. They must be aware of grammar, but not bombarded with boring terms. A report should be an interesting discovery and not a boring obligation.
The problem of education lies in the lack of ability to communicate. It has been proved that the education we get in our country is much better than that students get in more developed countries. Why not open some programs for teenagers who have problems or why not get kids involved in the process of studying with a help of a mobile-compatible learning portal where staff and students can work collaboratively. What is even more important, we have to motivate teachers and raise their salaries. We are to show all the true respect for them, so that these people will start to work to the full of their ability.
Children need more communication and soul put into schooling process. In my opinion that is the key to success if our country wants to raise teenagers who will not get involved in trouble and who will want to help their country.
To crown it all I’d like to mention that it very often happens that the curriculum squeezes subjects like Music, Art, and Drama. But Art is a mighty means of expression and it is important to make connections between Art, learning and the curriculum to help the growing soul to draw out the best and make it perfect for a noble use.

Learning makes people wise, ignorance, otherwise. The importance of education in our modern society is doubtless. Today’s choice of educational establishments and professions is so wide that every person has an opportunity to become a specialist in some field. After leaving school young people have plenty of opportunities. Among them there are universities and institutes of higher education, vocational schools, full-time education and distance courses.

I have always wanted to study at a university. On leaving school I had to make my choice. I started to think of what I wanted to do. I am not that kind of person who is interested in science, even though I was very good at it. But I was always attracted to people speaking a different language. I wanted to understand them, learn the way they think and be able to communicate with them. I chose the faculty of foreign languages. I must say that I really enjoy my studies.

However, there are people who do not plan entering a university. I think this is their decision and we have no right to judge them. There are people who want to enter a college or a vocational school and get their education there. To my mind, there are no bad or good professions. They all are equally important. Somebody studies for 5 years at the university to become an economist. Somebody strives to complete an MA course and gain an academic degree. Somebody studies at a specialized school to work as a carpenter later on. I think that the most important thing is to do what you love. A person who finished a cookery course might become an excellent cook, while a person who studied for 5 years at the faculty of law might never be a lawyer.

Any education is important. But it is also important for everyone to set a task according to their possibilities. Good specialists are like gold dust in any field.

Сегодняшний выбор образовательных учреждений и профессий настолько широк, что у каждого человека есть возможность стать специалистом в какой-то сфере. После окончания школы у молодых людей появляется масса возможностей. Среди них университеты и институты высшего образования, профессионально-технические училища, очное образование и заочные курсы.

Я всегда хотела учиться в университете. После окончания школы я должна была сделать свой выбор. Я начала думать о том, чтобы я хотела делать. Я не тот человек, которого интересуют науки, хотя они мне хорошо давались. Но меня всегда привлекали люди, которые говорили на другом языке. Я хотела понимать их, узнать то, как они думают, и уметь общаться с ними. Я выбрала факультет иностранных языков. Я должна сказать, что по-настоящему наслаждаюсь процессом обучения.

Тем не менее, есть люди, которые не планируют поступать в университет. Я думаю, что это их решение, и мы не вправе судить их. Есть люди, которые хотят поступить в колледж или профессионально-техническое училище и получить образование там. Я полагаю, что нет плохих или хороших профессий. Они все одинаково важны. Кто-то учится 5 лет в университете, чтобы стать экономистом. Кто-то стремится закончить магистратуру и получить ученую степень. Кто-то учится в специализированном училище, чтобы потом работать плотником. Я думаю, самое важное – это заниматься тем, что ты любишь. Человек, закончивший кулинарные курсы, может стать превосходным поваром, а человек, отучившийся 5 лет на юридическом факультете, может так никогда и не стать юристом.

Education plays a very important role in our life. It is one of the most valuable possessions a man can get in his life.

During all the periods of human history education ranked high among people. Human progress mostly depended upon well-educated people. We get our knowledge of this world and life through education. Many famous discoveries would have been impossible if people were not interested in learning something. Self-education is very important for the development of human’s talents. Only through self-education a person can become a harmonically developed personality.

A person becomes a highly qualified specialist after getting some special education. And professionalism can be reached only through it. Even highly qualified specialists from time to time attend refresher courses to refresh their knowledge.

Education develops all sides of human personality, reveals his abilities. Besides, it helps a person to understand himself, to choose the right way in this world. The civilized state differs from others in the fact that it pays much attention to the educational policy. John Kennedy said: “Our progress as a nation can be no swifter than our progress in education”. But it doesn’t concern only one particular nation. We know that science and art belong to the whole world. Before them the barriers of nationality disappear. So education brings people closer to each other, helps them to understand each other better.

Образование развивает все стороны человеческой личности, раскрывает его способности. Кроме того, оно помогает человеку понять самого себя, чтобы выбрать правильный путь в этом мире. Цивилизованное государство отличается от других в том, что он уделяет большое внимание образовательной политике. Our modern world is full of technological advances and education is very important today. Human progress mainly depends on well-educated people. They say that those who have information, rule the world.

When we are 7 years old we are sent to schools to get useful knowledge about our world, although that isn’t the main purpose of education. The most important thing, to my mind, is learning how to learn in order to use this ability in our future life. At school children also enjoy lots of cultural activities which reveal their personal talents. However some people think that the current system of education isn’t able to teach pupils how to become good thinkers and schools are only about passing exams.

Education is very important for me and it goes without saying that I’m planning to get a higher education after finishing school. I’m sure it will enable me to achieve better prospects in career growth. Nowadays you can’t find an interesting job with a decent salary without a certain level of education because every company looks for well-qualified specialists. While studying at a university you get essential knowledge for your future profession. Moreover, university life is always exciting and eventful.

I believe it is impossible to overestimate the importance of education. It is one of the most valuable possessions and the most powerful weapons we can get in our life. It develops many sides of human personality and helps us to understand ourselves deeper. Education trains the mind to think, that’s why educated people have the ability to change our world and contribute to the well-being of our society.

Образование для меня очень важно и, само собой разумеется, что я намереваюсь получить высшее образование после окончания школы. Уверен, что это даст мне возможность добиться хорошей перспективы в карьерном росте. В наше время невозможно найти интересную работу с приличной заработной платой без определенного уровня образования, поскольку любой компании нужны квалифицированные специалисты. Во время учебы в университете вы получаете важные знания для своей будущей профессии. Более того, университетская жизнь очень увлекательна и насыщена событиями.

Я считаю, что невозможно переоценить важность образования. Это одно из наиболее ценных приобретений и мощнейшее оружие, которые можно получить в жизни. Оно развивает многие стороны человеческой личности и помогает нам глубже понять себя. Образование учит наш мозг думать, поэтому образованные люди в силах изменить наш мир и внести вклад в благополучие нашего общества.
